Privacy Policy

InCalc is a calculator, not a service. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Every calculation runs entirely on your own device.
Data Not Collected
InCalc collects nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no cookies, and no third-party services. We do not see, receive, or store any information about you, the figures you enter, or how you use the app.
How It Works
InCalc is a self-contained Progressive Web App. All of its logic — deposit interest, loan EMI, DSCR/DBR ratios, settlement IRR, and scenario comparison — executes locally in your browser. Nothing you type leaves your device.
When you upload a spreadsheet for the settlement calculator, the file is read and parsed in your browser only. It is never uploaded to any server.
What Is Stored On Your Device
To work offline and remember your preference, InCalc keeps a small amount of data on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
- App cache: the app's files are cached by your browser's service worker so InCalc loads offline.
- Theme preference: your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser's local storage.
You can clear all of this at any time by clearing your browser's site data or uninstalling the app. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never hold a copy.
Data Retention
Not applicable. Because no data is ever collected or transmitted, there is nothing for InCalc to retain. On-device cache and your theme preference persist only until you clear them yourself.
Children's Privacy
InCalc is safe for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal information at all.
A Note on Accuracy
InCalc's results are estimates for guidance only, calculated on the basis of the Bangladesh Finance Act FY2025-26 (including excise-duty slabs and source-tax rates in effect for that fiscal year). They are not financial advice. Always confirm figures with your bank and consult a qualified financial advisor before making any financial decision.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes, the revised effective date above will be updated. Because the app collects no data, any change would only ever clarify or reaffirm that position.
